  • Application-specific watermarking - augments existing watermarking support in earlier versions with print watermarking for additional security/tracking including field data that identifies data relating to the user, date/time of printing, publisher and document
  • User-specific DRM file creation - create enhanced 'basic DRM files' that do not require separate authorization. The userID(s) of intended recipient or recipients must be provided. The files created can be read by the intended users immediately/without separate online access or authorization, but are not readable by any other users
  • Minor functional changes (recent file list display altered; 5 test authorization codes included without charge; About form includes Send log file facility to assist support in case of any problems)

    • View/print support for wide range of image file formats as well as PDF and DRM files. Includes GIF, TIF, JPG, PNG and BMP files
    • Extended document Properties screen (PDF and DRM properties) – see description in welcome.pdf for details
    • Full screen display support (useful for presentations etc) – new icon on toolbar and via View menu for this function
    • Synchronised bookmark and thumbnail support, with toolbar icon to view/hide this sidebar
    • Enhanced support for very large documents – major performance improvements providing very fast navigation for large and complex documents
    • Control over text selection (text selection by line and by area, with copy to clipboard – IF ENABLED by the publisher)

    • Proxy support, enabling sites with proxy servers to use the central registration, publication and authorisation services
