Our software and services enable any PDF files - for example books, reports, technical manuals, or training materials - to be distributed securely anywhere in the world. The PDFs are strongly encrypted to ensure they cannot be read unless authorized and can be fully controlled in terms of their usage - display, printing, copying. No special software is needed on your own servers - just the encrypted PDFs created from your existing PDFs using our Drumlin software (we can do this for you if you wish) plus authorization codes for the files if these are required. The software is free and the services are free to try and are either completely free to use or are offered with a low per document service fee - we hope you will agree that the business case for this solution is compelling. For end users we recommend using our Javelin secure PDF readers (described below) as these are very small, fast, fully secure and do not require installation. |

Javelin PDF readers: Windows, Mac OSX, iPAD

Javelin provides the main end-user secure PDF reader software. Drumlin is the fully featured PDF reader and secure publishing software, and is also free. To download our free, secure, Javelin PDF readers simply click on the icon for your computer type. The Windows version is provided as an installation program - run this by double-clicking the file, ignore any warning messages, and follow the on-screen instructions. When finished Javelin will open automatically ready for use, and a link to Javelin will be added to your Desktop for future use. As a quick test, try opening any PDF using the File menu. For Mac OSX computers the download is a .dmg file - just double-click it to install. The iPAD edition of Javelin is currently in development Drumlin is a project as much as set of products and services, and at least for the present we aim to operate on a not-for-profit business model.
