Which version is right for me?
- If you need a low cost high security option: choose the Personal
version of Drumlin (or
upgrade if you need extra functionality - see below) and create DRMX files,
then purchase authorization codes as and when they are needed. This is
the solution most widely used by small volume/ebook publishers with at most
10 ebooks or documents to publish. Any number of copies of each document may
be distributed
- If you have a large number of PDF files to secure (100+): choose the
Pro+ edition
- If you want to add user/date specific watermarking to printed copies:
choose the Pro or Pro+ edition
- If you want to create PDFs that can only be read by a pre-defined set of
users and do not require authorization: choose the Pro or
Pro+ edition and create basic DRM files with an embedded
User List defining who can view them.
- If you want to create files that are secured (e.g. by date/time, against
copying or screen grabbing) but can be read by anyone and do not require
authorization, then use the free or Personal
edition options
- If you simply want a safe, fast, small footprint PDF
reader, then choose the DrumlinLite
offering. You can always upgrade to the full Drumlin product
in due course at no charge
